GreenPoint & HERS Verification

Sustainable residences use fewer resources, are highly energy efficient, and are healthier and more comfortable to live in. Recent research shows that these homes last longer and hold their value better compared to standard homes. GreenPoint Rated, a program of Build It Green, offers a rating system, that is being adopted by communities throughout California, to provide an objective measure as to the eco-friendliness of a home. Today over 70 Bay Area Counties require or suggest that new single family or multi-family homes be GreenPoint Rated.
